Hi, I’m Freek Leemhuis. I currently work as a software developer in the Netherlands with a company called IHomer.
I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, but have been working in the software industrie since around 1996. I have programmed in Visual Basic, Delphi and the last number of years mainly in C#. I occasionally dabble in other programming languages like Ruby and Scala.
In my spare time I’m Chairman (and one of the founders of) a software developer community in the Netherlands calledDevnology. We organise montly meetings and also publish a podcast on software development topics.
I occasionally write on my blog here, but you’ll find me more often on twitter.
I currently lives in Rosmalen, in the Southern part of the Netherlands, with my wife Helen and our daughter Hannah.
